Wang Xiao Rong, Time series 4, Mixed media, Abstract painting
£700.00Availability: In stockOut of stock
Wang Xiao Rong likes adventures which is something that pushes her to experiment a lot. Her work is composed by a multitude of materials and mediums. She will create with objects in her paintings such as leaves and papers, in addition to ink, oil pigment and the Chinese painting technique according to her requirements. Thereafter, Wang will often use those materials to create some forms of collages. Each material and colour has an emotional characteristic.
“From a macroscopic perspective, my works examine states of life existence and mourn about how life is short and time vanishes”.
Time Series 4 is an abstract mixed media piece. The painting looks like a mixture of dripping technique and collage. The artwork holds a creamy background and uneven black lines. The composition looks like lost fragments of a puzzle connected together to create its own free-form, leaving slight spaces between them.
