Time’s Up is a mixed media piece composed in majority by a gloomy palette creating a mysterious atmosphere. The bottom half holds the darkest colours, and the top half introduces rays of light into the painting with shades of white and light turquoise. The shapes are quite abstract, yet, you can notice a crowd of people, rectangular shapes in the middle of the piece that could resemble briefcases. It seems the piece reflects on the everyday life routine of going to work. Our brains are switched onto “automatic” and we forget to actually live the present.

Time Series 1 is a mixed media painting with a very bright and dominant red colour. There is a contrast between the dense red & black area of the piece and the diluted, lighter colours on the left of the painting. There is a definite pattern we can perceive either through the paint brush strokes or the superposition of collage layers.

The following piece is considerably dense. First of all in terms of colours and how filled the canvas is, but also, in the variety of painting mediums. The lower half of the piece is opaque and diluted whereas the upper half is saturated in pigments.
Even though the painting appears to be abstract, we can distinguish shapes that reminds us of waves from the sea, maybe clouds at the top and a horizon in the middle. In the middle of the work, we can catch a glimpse of a simple dark touch resembling a boat vanishing in the intensity of a disturbed sea.
Wang allows a space in her works for the audience’s own interpretations and emotions. She has a very loving and peaceful nature, yearning for good and looking towards the future which is depicted into her art. The works very much talk about romance, sincerity, amiability and nature.

Warm Winter strikes us with the mellowness of its festive atmosphere. Two deer and two rabbits welcome us to their Christmas party, which seems to be taking place simultaneously in the forest and indoors. With its gentle red tones and sparkling gold, this painting radiates a sense of joy and comfort, and the friendliness of its characters protects us from the harshness of the winter.
